I'm Back

"I'm back in the saddle again..."

It's nice to be back blogging once again. I think I may have taken a little too long to get back into this Well here's a poem to dust off my technique. I haven't written in a while.

New Beginnings

I stopped to look,

I was here once before,

But now this is different,

I have so much more to learn,

No more 45 minute periods,

Or teachers waving chalk,

It's hellow powerpoints,

Listening to professors lecture and talk,

Each time is so much longer,

The clock calmly ticks,

Tick... Tock... Tick...

As I can do nothing but sit,

I see some famililar faces,

Sitting down next to me,

One strong thought to the next,

Letting my mind set free,

Taking one great moment,

To the next,

Grasping each chance I get,

Picking up what's left,

My first semester is half-way done,

With work, a heavy burden,

And all of the written papers done,

With every fall of the sun....
