Time to go back?

I have noticed that I have not posted up any poetry that I have written in a pretty long time. It's not that I haven't written anything, it's just that posting has gotten a little hard, especially since school has picked up its pace quite a bit. So... here's some of the poetry that I have written and some explanations to go along with them.

APRIL 10, 2007

Smile a little more,
Let it light you up
To your core,
Take every step with pride,
Be proud of you are,
Take it in strides,
Be who you are without the stress,
Be confident in yourself,
Pass life's test.
Don't care about just you,
People have to be around,
They need you too.
It doesn't mean be a follower,
Or let people influence who you are,
Let your style show,
without the dollar.
Show a little sympathy,
Let the world know who you are and what you do,
It's okay to let everyone see,
What makes you, you,
And what you are today,
It's okay to bring up your past to meet the future,
But don't wait until it's too late,
To live your life the way life should be lived.

~The point of the poem is to be who you are and let the world know too~

APRIL 16, 2007

Walking in a different light,
Walking past the line of sight,
Wishing one time to be invisible,
Wishing that you could be liberal,
Wanting to be away from the crowd,
Wanting to stay away from any sound,
Hiding from the lies,
Hiding from the questions that lead up to why?
No emotion,
No body motion,
Leaving life behind,
Leaving the person that was kind,
End of selflessness,
End of the chances to wish,
Time goes by sometimes so fast,
Time never does last,
Now, you shadow is cast,
Now, there's no chance to bring up your past.

~Live a little in the past to save your future~

APRIL 17, 2007

Afaid of the next,
The future,
The things that bother you less.
Afraid to get emotional,
Let tears flow,
Baring of your soul,
No chance to smile,
Not one tear,
Holding everything back for a while,
Letting your fuse grow long,
Until everything makes you blow,
And you are viewed as wrong,
As your face turns bright red,
And eyes, sharp as pins,
Angry with what is said,
Chest gets tight,
As it's so hard to breathe,
And head feels light,
Skin seems to burn,
You don't understand what you do,
You look upon yourself with scorn,
The next day brings a new light,
Letting yourself learn and grow,
While moving towards what is truly right!

~It's okay to have a temper... but learn from it, and understand what makes what you do wrong when you let everything go, and teach yourself how to make it right.~

All of these poems I actually had on my profile before I put them up here. If you want to see it just click Here.
